Yes, I used Wix

I assume the first question many people will as is "why would a web designer use Wix to present her portfolio?" My simple answer is because it's fast and free. Yes, I can code in HTML and CSS as well as intersperse snippets of PHP code within the page. Yes, I can also create and edit custom Joomla or Wordpress sites. And yes, I still chose Wix.

At the moment I am a Stay at Home Mom to a very active and lively 2 year old and I needed to get my portfolio up and running in just a few days. Less than that, actually in just a few nap times. I also have zero money to pay for a website domain name and hosting plan. I could have chosen Wordpress.com, but I felt that unless it was on my host, I would have just as much constraints as Wix. And lets, just face it, Wix has the best ready-made graphics around. It took me a little longer than it would on Wordpress, but I feel that in the end, the final products looks and handles better on Wix.
